Frank was born July 12th, 1961 in Holland and moved to Canada with his family years later. After residing in southern Ontario, the family eventually moved to Oakville.

Frank started working at the local golf course when he was 13 years old. He joined the CGSA and OGSA in 1986. Frank was the Course Superintendent at Shawneeki starting in 1986. He loved Shawneeki and his job, going through 4 different owners over the years.

Frank married the love of his life Lidia, November 1991 and had a daughter Genia and son Eric. He was a fantastic father and family man and loved kids dearly. His hobbies were making the golf course the best it could be, long drive competitions, building and repairing computers and online gaming.

He always helped anyone who needed a hand. Frank and his family appreciate you attending and he will be watching the long Drive Competition.
